Take It Down (NCMEC): intimate images taken when you were under 18

Here is the official process on Take It Down (NCMEC), checked on 15 October 2026. Follow the steps in order.

Before you start

  • Write down the links (web addresses) where the content appears, with the date. Don’t download or forward the content itself.
  • Report each link with the platform’s official form, choosing the category for intimate content shared without consent.
  • If you’re an adult, create a digital fingerprint on StopNCII.org: partner platforms can then block new uploads of the same image, without the image ever leaving your phone.
  • Also ask Google and Bing to remove it from search results: both have forms dedicated to intimate images.

The steps

  1. This is for nude, partially nude or sexual photos or videos taken before you turned 18 (even if you’re an adult now).
  2. Click "Get Started": it’s free and you can stay anonymous.
  3. Choose the images on your device: only a fingerprint (hash) is created, you don’t send the image to anyone.
  4. Participating platforms use the fingerprint to remove or block copies.

You don’t need an account. Checked on 15 October 2026.

If you are under 18

Talk to a trusted adult and, if there are threats, to the police. Your country’s free official services are on the Urgent help page. Devuelta never takes on, or charges for, a case involving a minor.
