Bing / Microsoft: europe: ask Bing to block search results (right to be forgotten)

Here is the official process on Bing / Microsoft, checked on 15 October 2026. Follow the steps in order.

Before you start

  • List the pages concerned (their links) and what they show.
  • Ask the site to delete your data, through its contact form or the address in its privacy policy. In the EU, it must generally answer within one month.
  • Ask Google to remove results showing your contact details (the "Results about you" tool).
  • If there is no answer, contact the data protection authority in your country.

The steps

  1. Open the "Request to Block Bing Search Results In Europe" form.
  2. Say whether it’s for you or someone else, and give your full legal name.
  3. Give your European country of residence and contact details.
  4. List the URLs and explain why they’re inaccurate, outdated or excessive, then submit.

You don’t need an account. Checked on 15 October 2026.

If it doesn’t work

An official form can go unanswered or be wrongly refused. That’s not the end: there are other doors, heavier but effective — the company hosting the site, the company managing its domain name, the laws of your country, the data protection authority. That’s exactly what we do for you, with your agreement.

  1. Reporting to the platform
  2. A written request to the site owner
  3. The domain name registrar
  4. The hosting company
  5. Search engines
  6. The authority or the courts
