Snapchat: report a deepfake or fake nude

Here is the official process on Snapchat, checked on 15 October 2026. Follow the steps in order.

Before you start

  • Write down the links and the date. Don’t share the image, not even to warn people close to you: send the link instead.
  • Report it on each platform as non-consensual intimate content or as an AI-manipulated image.
  • Ask Google and Bing to remove the results: Google has a dedicated process for fake explicit images.
  • If you’re an adult, StopNCII.org also works for faked images.

The steps

  1. Take a screenshot (username, date) without sharing the content.
  2. In the app, press and hold the content, tap "Report" and choose "Nudity and Sexual Content".
  3. On the web, use the form on the page ("They’re actually sharing my nudes/intimate imagery without my permission").
  4. Fill in the fields, explain the image is fake, and submit.

You don’t need an account. Checked on 15 October 2026.

If it doesn’t work

An official form can go unanswered or be wrongly refused. That’s not the end: there are other doors, heavier but effective — the company hosting the site, the company managing its domain name, the laws of your country, the data protection authority. That’s exactly what we do for you, with your agreement.

  1. Reporting to the platform
  2. A written request to the site owner
  3. The domain name registrar
  4. The hosting company
  5. Search engines
  6. The authority or the courts
